This past weekend a woman named Iesha Hill was arrested in Stockton, California for mixing alcohol in her baby's formula. According to reports the incident was accidental and not her fault.
KTXL Fox reports, Hill's 5-month-old daughter, Vanessa, was given a bottle of formula mixed with Bacardi. Iesha's mother said her daughter is a good mother. She said it was her who was making a bottle for her granddaughter and thought the bottle next to her had water in it. She had no idea it was Bacardi rum.
When the baby's head was shaking abnormally the next morning, Iesha checked the bottle. That's when she realized it was alcohol mixed in the formula. They immediately took the baby to the hospital where the police and CPS was called. Hill was arrested and charged with child abuse.
This is a horrible accident but it wasn't the mother's fault. Do you think Iesha Hill should be penalized for her an unknown mistake?
