Miley Cyrus was recently spotted frolicking in a pool and hanging out on a hotel balcony with a mystery man, and the photographs caused some tabloids to imply that recently-engaged Miley might be cheating on Liam Hemsworth.
However, now the mystery man has been revealed as Miley's 
close friend/assistant Cheyne Thomas.
In the pool pics Miley and Cheyne get incredibly close to one another, and to a casual observer, they might look like a couple. Apparently Miley and her mom have already read some of the reports about the pictures, because Tish tweeted this today:
"So sad that the nasty tabloids have to make up stories to sell their trashy mags. Cant they just leave these 2 alone and let them be happy?"
Miley Cyrus responded:
"I love my fiancé & he loves me. All the rest is bull s**t. We get to live a life of happiness no one can take that away from us!"
Hopefully Miley doesn't let all the tabloid talk about how she and Liam Hemsworth are already having trouble get to her, and hopefully Liam is okay with her friendship with Cheyne Thomas - most guys wouldn't want their girlfriend looking that flirty with another man.
Miley Cyrus later tweeted that she's missing "her mommy and fiancé."
So is Miley using Cheyne as a stand-in for Liam Hemsworth while she's away from him? Only Miley, Cheyne, and hopefully Liam know what's really going on here, so all fans of Miley and Liam can do is hope that the situation isn't hurting anyone.
