Alex McCord may not be on the Real Housewives of New York anymore, but she's spent four seasons with Ramona Singer and Countess LuAnn de Lesseps. So if anyone has the right to take sides, its her!
On Monday night's episode, Ramona and LuAnn hashed out the blackmail claims that had erupted after the previous episode. LuAnn claimed that Ramona told her she would expose her as a neglectful mother if she didn't agree to leave her alone!
In her blog for this week's episode, Alex gives her thoughts on the Ramona/LuAnn drama. "LuAnn has a history of wanting to sweep things under the rug," Alex recalls. "She's had a lot of press about issues in her life whether it is with her family, her children, her husband, her marriage, dancing on tables — I was even there for some of that and it does happen."
Alex has been dealt with the wrath of the Countess on many occasions and it all seems to stem from an incident where the Countess had come off acting less than appropriate. Alex believes that in order for LuAnn to maintain her image, she needs to hide certain things. "LuAnn's trying to keep it off the show. Ramona is trying to keep her honest."
