This is the way liberal/progressives work. She was on a national TV show. She's someone folks on the left admire. And, therefore, many will never bother to discover for themselves if that statement has any truth to it.

Does it really matter men and women are paid equally, when the fact remains that in Saudi Arabia, a woman is not allowed to work unless her husband, father or male guardian (and the guardian can even be a teen son!) gives permission? Talk about being equal. Not.

In Saudi Arabia, women are being given the right to vote. But they're still not allowed to drive.

Snyderman probably went from page 115 to page 815 in my book of folks I respect (in order) after her two absurd comments this week, one about abortion and this one about women in Saudi Arabia.
