The lovely Jessica Chastain showed up for the Tony Awards 2012 in an amazing see-through dress that showed she was the most sexy on the red carpet while strolling the runway outside the Beacon Theater in New York City on June 10.
Donning an ethereal frock designed by Mario Schwab, the confident star of The Help brought Hollywood glamour to Broadway for the big show that is an ode to the theater and, particularly, to the Great White Way. She was swathed in a look that made it difficult to tell where the garment ended and where her skin began, thanks in part to a few strategically placed appliqués and some special illusion styling.
Meanwhile, Chastain complimented her designer garb with Harry Winston jewelry and silver ankle strap heels made by Giuseppe Zanotti that were sky-high.
Chastain, who heads to Broadway to take a turn on the boards in The Heiress this fall, was a presenter at the 66th annual Tony Awards, but it was her sartorial choice that really took the prize during her appearance at the annual show.
With that said, take a look here at Jessica Chastain and weigh in: Do you think this actress was too sexy for the sedate Tony Awards? Do you think the thespian was on point or off base with what she wore to the Beacon Theater on Sunday? Thoughts?
