Teresa Giudice is one busy woman! She is always on the go, singing books for her fans or promoting her new drink. However, she does take the time to sit down and do interviews with regard to all the family drama that is happening on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Earlier this week, Teresa, Kathy and Melissa all visited the view and Teresa was quickly labeled as dramatic because she wanted to film her own segment. She was shocked at the negative backlash from fans and decided to write a blog to share her side of the story.
"You all know I'm not big on bashing my co-stars, family, or really anyone on Twitter or Facebook and I try my hardest not to in my blogs either. I just don't live my life that way. I never have," Teresa begins her personal blog. So, she may not have hired private investigators or hassled any of the women on Twitter regarding being honest and truthful, but she isn't completely innocent. Well, the core of the drama seems to stem from the fact that Kathy and Melissa never told Teresa Giudice that they were joining The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
"I had no idea Melissa or Kathy were joining RHONJ until the day a Bravo producer called me and told me. And I was shocked almost out of my mind because I literally had no idea... not even the tiniest hint. The two of them can split hairs all they want and dance around the exact when/how/why, but the fact is you don't get cast on the show overnight. It takes interviews, phone calls, meetings, contract negotiations, etc. However much they did for however long I don't know because it was all behind my back," she writes. Teresa goes on to give examples of how both Melissa's stories and Kathy's stories about getting roles on the show have changed several times over the past year.
Well, some fans of the show may be tired of Teresa's constant talks about how Melissa and Kathy joined the show behind her back. It's not like it is Teresa's show; she is just a part of it. Yet, she keeps talking about it like a breach in trust within the family, which is how she sees it. "Why is this important at all? Because the shock and betrayal I felt by my family joining the show behind my back (during an already hard time in my life) is why I was so obviously miserable during Season 3, and continued to affect my relationships with them into Season 4 (which you all know we filmed back-to-back)," she explains. It really does sound like Teresa just wants Melissa and Kathy to recognize that they could have been more open and honest about signing on to do the show.
Do you think Teresa is overreacting or should they have talked to her about joining the show?
