The Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival 4-day event is back and so are the fans of this festival. It is anticipated that 80,000 of them will be trying to maneuver the roads of Middle Tennessee to get to Manchester. If you want to stay sane if you aren't attending the festival, you need to avoid Coffee County which is 65 miles southeast of Nashville.
The traffic on I-24 is where TDOT has suspended construction to help allow traffic to flow smoothly. If you are a local of that area, be prepared. There are tons of visitors who may or may not know where they are going. Keep your eyes open and be ready for driver's to cut you off in their attempt to not miss an exit. Demolition derby time is here!
The Bonnaroo Music Festival has grown over the years and with that growth comes more and more problems. One thing everyone attending needs to have with them is their patience. They will be traffic, there will be lines,
there will be waiting and there will be people with very short fuses. If you find yourself in a dead-stopped line of traffic, get out of your vehicle and stretch your legs. Visit the other folks waiting in line. You'll all in the same boat so enjoy the time!
Once you get into Bonnaroo, you'll forget all about the traffic jams! For information about the line-up of performers, check it out here.
