Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson are doing really well together but while some fans have changed their minds about them as a couple, others have not. Ben and Courtney are still getting dissed and still find the need to defend themselves once in a while.

Ben responded, "It's not a competition. You don't win love." It sounds like he was amused by this comment, which is likely why he felt compelled to respond.
Usually, Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson ignore the negativity. While they do get a lot of positive and uplifting messages, they most certainly get their fair share of not-so-nice ones as well. The important thing is that they are happy with one another and that they are doing what is best for them... not anyone else.
