Jill Zarin got the boot from Real Housewives of New York last season after being on the show since its start. However, never one to miss a party, Zarin made an appearance at Aviva Drescher's viewing party on Monday night.
"I stopped by to congratulate LuAnn," she told the New York Post during the party which was also attended by new housewives Heather Thompson and Carole Radziwill.
So did she like the show? Not one bit. "I thought they were going to make it more sophisticated and classy. I didn't see any of that. It is just as catty as ever."
Ouch! Was that a dig at Bravo for letting her go? Did giving her the boot, along with Kelly Bensimon, Alex McCord, and Cindy Barshop, make it less classy? Only time will tell.
What is known at this point is that ratings for the franchise were down as of premiere night on Monday. Tune in next week to see if the Real Housewives of New York's fifth season lives up to the sophistication that Jill Zarin is expecting!
