Kathy Hilton is the sister of Kim and Kyle Richards of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She has sure dealt with her fair share of reality TV -- her daughter, Paris, has starred in Simple Life, Paris Hilton's My New BFF, and The World According To Paris, to name a few. So, when her sisters joined the Real Housewives, she was supportive.
"In the beginning I thought this could be a great opportunity. This could be a platform to do a lot of nice things, to have a voice, to give back; and also for business," she tells PR. "When I watched the first season and then when I saw what happened on the first season's finale... I broke down.. I missed my mom. It was just heart-breaking that my family could fall apart like that."
The first season finale included Kyle and Kim engaging in a heated debate in which Kyle called Kim a liar and said she was sick of taking care of her. Kyle also exposed Kim as an alcoholic -- not a great family moment!
Needless to say, Kathy Hilton did not watch season 2, and that's a good thing. Her sister Kim's addiction was spiralling out of control and as the season continued, she only got worse.
Kim, who has recently completed drug treatment, and Kyle are currently filming a third season which will début later this year.
