Baldwin sues Costner after Stephen Baldwin claims he sold his shares of an large deal with BP to clean up the Gulf oil spill of 2010. Baldwin claims he lost money, and is suing Costner who claims he never spoke directly to Baldwin.
Once again, greed rears its ulgy head. I was thrilled with Kevin Costner's invention to separate oil from water. Costner was a hero, so Baldwin wanted in, but now, Baldwin sues Costner for how many millions? It doesn't sound like any love or concern for the enviroment is involved here.
According to Wonderwall, "A trial opened Monday for Baldwin's claims that Costner and business partner Patrick Smith duped him and a friend out of their shares of an $18 million deal for BP to buy oil-separating centrifuges after the April 2010 spill."
It sounds like Baldwin sold his shares in the invention too soon, and now Baldwin sues Costner, for his own poor judgement.
