Kate Gosselin Makes Friends with "Hispanic Elvis"

Great article Effie. What a shame that the bullies can't get it through their heads despite all the things people who have actually met her say she is sweet, friendly and funny. What a shame that some people have to take their own unhappiness out on a stranger to them. Keep the great articles coming.

There are also many people who have met Kate and said she was nasty and cold. Some even say that she stops talking to them on twitter after they introduce themselves to her personally. She's kind of desperate now so thats probably why she agreed to meet with Elvis.

And just why are we falling all over ourselves and praising this woman for doing the right thing - meeting a fan?

I don't thnk Elvis signed up for the Cruise. Kate probably berated him for that.

It was pretty sad actually. They had this ongoing Twitter thing about those silly lettuce wraps for weeks before the event. He was trying to find her on Saturday & she couldn't even find time to respond to his tweets until someone else pointed it out. Her excuse was that she was so busy at the event thingie. I think, like many of the tweeples, he truly thought their friendship was real and worth more than a few measly minutes.

Looks like she would have at least invited him to lunch or something, now that might have been something to talk about. Just taking a pic with a fan is common practice and is nothing extraordinary. It doesn't take much to get effie and the other sheeps excited. Makes me worried.

Oh, shut up, grumpypants, and go up your fiber, LOL! :-) Kate and "Mr. Sam Diego" have been Twitter buddies for over a year. kate had to do all the things other runners prepare for when they run in marathons/half marathons, there were over 30,000? Other folks there, they didn't meet up in an instant, big whoop! Point is, THEY DID. And that's what Effie's reporting on. :-) I personally enjoyed the big PFChang balloon with the giant guitar they posed in front of. "Elvis" and Kate have chatted about eating lettuce wraps there for awhile on Twitter, and thair picture of them posingmin front of the balloon is the perfect illustration of how this new modern technology and social media brings people from all walks of life together who might never have met or spoken before! :-) WTG, Kate and Elvis! She couldn't very well avoid meeting him without her other four loyal "fans" possibly calling her on it. Rest assured "Elvis" was thoroughly checked out by her faux bodyguard first.

I think someone advised Kate to meet this fan so she would not further damage her image. It was clear Kate was ignoring him. Her primary focus at the race was herself and trying to be noticed. She did not give a hoot about him or any other fan.

Once again we see how Kate haters have a psychological/sociological need to attack a woman they don't even know for something that THEY decree happened. They admit they weren't there, Twitter gives us 140 character 'clues' but not details. So funny that someone "met" on twitter is considered a friend. Name another "friend" that Kate spends real time with, in real life.

Are you serious?? BHappy you have no cred. whatsoever. You are a well-known bully on twitter and other places. Effie, you are a completely ineffectual writer and give nothing but pap copied straight from twitter. The only reason Kate met Elvis was at the insistence of, actually, a fan, who called her out on it. Her avoidance of him was glaring. She'd been teasing him for months on twitter, but obviously had no intention at all of meeting him. She habitually treats her fans like this. She's a hopeless case and a train-wreck in progress. Her married boyfriend, Steve, has become a laughing stock.

Not to mention BHappy is known to fib a lot. I don't think Kate thought this person would even show up, and when he did..she knew she had to force herself to "notice" him, or she might have a situation like she did when she totally crushed "Iwanna's" heart at that event. She avoided him so much he went home and got drunk. I actually think the man was mentally scared after. that. Kate had teased him for months about a meeting, but broke his heart like the witch she is.

Do you think any of your comments bother me? Get serious, you are just bullies who hate life and take it out on other people. Calling me a liar is a riot since I've told the truth from day one. There is nothing more I hate than a liar and I find it hysterical you calling me one. Ironically it is those that accuse me of it, that are the biggest pathological liars on the planet. Oh Lisa your sick obsession with Kate and her fans and your stalking the fans is going to end with you going to jail and I"m looking forward to the day that happens. CJ, your kids are calling you, they said thanks for missing their last few birthdays..they are now 20+ and have moved out of the house. They left you a note, but it got buried under all those twitter files you keep. Tweenie had a bouncing baby boy, he's now 18 and marrying the man of his dreams next week. They are adopting from Mexico. Bye for now..I'll keep you updated on any changing events as I know you'll still be very busy on twitter and other boards.

CJ Whodunit and BHappy, you sound like characters from a cheap B novel. What on earth is the matter with you? Everyone has a right to his/her opinion and does not mean they have any animosity toward anyone. Where does the foster home business come from? These children have a father and caring relatives. That would never happen. Kate Gosselin could have all the help in the world if she could let go of her "mine all mine" attitude.

The truth is that anyone with a grain of common sense can see that Kate has a nasty, overbearing personality and that it is fostered on her family. Her exposure to TV documents this. She, herself, is her own documentation. Nothing is left to the imagination. There really is no argument.

Does anyone think it's strange that Kate spoke to one person on this trip and they are using that to tell the world how friendly she really is ?

And what's up with the "road manager?" How many people there had a road manager or security guard running along side? Doe this woman realize that this kind of crap is the reason most people cannot stand her ? The only one blowing Kate's horn is Kate and the world is laughing their azzes off at her.

I think in Kate's mind she is that important and all the haters are plotting to "get 'er." She doesn't seem to notice that individuals with true accomplishments and fame are traveling solo. Now, I think Steve is more than a body guard, road manager ( which is even sillier than body guard) -- he also carries her cell phone.

That probably makes them practically engaged! LOL...

Kate is begging fans to sign up for the Chicago marathon in July. I don't get it. She never mentions a charity, but she can spend the time and energy begging for fans.

Do you think Kate ever bothered to inquire about the charities supported by the 2 RnR marathons she attended? Would she be able to name them? Doubt it. She did not promote them on Twitter, just talked about herself. Oops, I forgot...these marathons are all about Kate! Forget the charities!

Kate never even once mentioned the charities than Rock 'Run supports, much less promote them. Instead of being able to take pride in the fact she raised money for charity, Kate only boasts about her "PR".
Now she is begging her fans to come Chicago so they can "meet" her. That is her validation. How shallow can a person get?
