Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev have been apart for over a week and while fans have been hoping that they will reconnect soon, it appears as though they may be apart for a bit longer.

l day in Rio. Heading home to spend a day with my kids before going back to then on the road. Miss my little furballs—they ground me," Ian tweeted on Monday, adding that he had a ton of work to do today, perhaps back in LA before he embarks on his next adventure. It is possible that Ian will head to Bulgaria and visit with Nina and her family... or maybe Nina will head out of Bulgaria and meet her boyfriend somewhere. Who knows?
Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev usually don't spend long periods of time apart. It is only a matter of time before they meet up with one another and fans can't hardly wait to see where that will be. Perhaps an exotic location for some relaxation and scuba diving!
