While Robert Pattinson has been busily globetrotting doing post Cannes Film Festival promotional work for David Cronenberg's Cosmopolis, his former co-star, Christina Ricci has kept busy promoting RPattz's other post Twilight endeavor, Bel Ami. Unlike Cosmopolis, Bel Ami hasn't caused quite as much international commotion as Cosmopolis nor has Pattinson's performance in it garnered the same amount of praise. Christina Ricci however, has nothing but good things to say about Bel Ami and also about Rob and the close relationship they formed both on and off camera. Did she say off camera? Oops. What will Kristen Stewart say?
In a recent interview with the San Francisco Chronicle, Christina Ricci reminisced about her Bel Ami days with Robert Pattinson.
"I really think that the dynamic that Rob and I kind of created, just from spending time together and knowing each other..., really translated well to film," Ricci gushed. "We had that kind of joking, fun, light relationship off camera, and that carried over to the screen a bit. I think that was really good because it's a direct contrast to his relationship with everybody else in this world."
So, there you have it. Hopefully Kristen Stewart won't be jealous about her famous boyfriend's friendship with Christina. On the other hand, La Ricci's last line about her relationship with Rob being different from "his relationship with everybody else in this world," might prove a bit problematic. Shouldn't that description be reserved for the relationship one has with one's "significant other?" So, in Rob's case shouldn't that "unique relationship" be with Kristen Stewart? Once again, oops.
Oh well, stay tuned.
