One. I just got a new TV. For the past six weeks I’ve lived without one and I have to report that I didn’t suffer all that much, however it is nice to have television option. Of course the network I missed was Bravo. A few years ago when I had chemo I developed panic attacks. Things that I would usually fuss over and then move on became stagnate in my fussing state. For instance on Nat Geo (The National Geographic Channel) I watched a show about body modification and then was treated to a restless sleep where my nightmares involved horrible tattoos and bad body piercings. I knew what I needed and it was a double dose of Bravo programming. You see, the shows on Bravo are diverting. I don’t learn much but then again I can fall asleep and not have to worry if my dreams are going to be haunted with the likes of housewives past. True, not everything on the network is my cup of tea, but if I could only take one channel on a deserted island it would be Bravo with all its brouhaha and bravolebrities.Â

Two. Air conditioning. I’m supposed to get a new air conditioner tomorrow and at the moment I just feel icky. Cool air. Best invention ever!

Â
Three. Tomato Bisque. I could chuck it like it is tomato juice.
Â
Â
Â
Â
Â
Â
Â
Four. The wildflowers that grow in Missouri. So many of them and they make highway driving a treat.

Five. Listening to Dean Martin on my iPhone/iPod. Sure, I have some Sinatra, but for me Martin was more timeless. Plus he wore his hair like my grandpa.Â

Six. Sweet potato anything! Why did it take so long for sweet potato fires to catch on? The other night I had sweet potato tamales and they were out of this world. Here is a recipe I found on Oprah.com.Â

Seven. Hoodies. Okay, I know that racists are now all about defending cowards who shoot kids of color wearing hoodies, but hoodies define comfort and everyone looks good in one. One of the things I hate about the summer months is that it is too hot for hoodies. I like the ones with marsupial pouches.Â

I don't have nightmares, but don't get enough sleep since usually I wake up between 3:00-5:00AM and can't get back to sleep. And despite surgery and other medical treatment, I awaken to a considerable amount of back and leg pain.
I love your MIND!
I like Bravo too ~ And like you can do spaces of NO TV and not miss a beat, but every now and then -- I dive in to the CABLE zone.
This is NOW FEATURED in Artistic Minds®.
Which leads me to go to find out if you have created any Gather Groups here that I can join? Please invite me if you have, and if you haven't -- please create one -- I want to be a Member! {jumping up and down in anticipation!}

Your Friend,
