Sounds like there has been trouble behind the scenes at Vampire Diaries lately. News has broken that one of the couples formed from the cast of the series has split. Now before the Delena fans get themselves in an uproar - that couple is not Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev. Too much PDA went on in Paris for those two to split.
Which couple from the show split though? Probably the quietest of the couples on the series. In fact, some might not even know that the pair were dating. Candice Accola and Zach Roerig play Caroline Forbes and Matt Donovan on the series, and Us Weekly has now reported that the two have split. Their characters also dated and split on the teen series as well.
The two began dating last year, and they spoke only briefly about their relationship via Twitter. It does seem to be something in the water in Atlanta because Ian and Nina are also an item off screen. Paul Wesley now has his off-screen wife as a part of the cast of Vampire Diaries, and that pair was also seen enjoying a vacation in Paris last week.
Are there any other behind the scenes couples that TVD fans should know about? It is sad to hear of the split between Candice and Zach. Fans can hope it doesn't make things awkward for the pair on set.
