What Is Happening Today On Gather ~ Friday June 01, 2012

I have received many email and comments from gather members who are struggling with various issues in their lives.  I wanted to share these struggles with you in this issue.  The fact that members in the Gather community support each other is the thing that I treasure most about this site.

Norene is  typing with one hand. She recently had a Biopsy.

As you may already know, Jan had brain surgery.  She is doing better but it will be a long journey for her.  She said the following "My therapist is very encouraging. I have already gotten some of the hardest things done - I can open and close my hand repeatedly. It doesn't sound like much, I know, but from here I can do much more...I know I can!"


When Andrea Pearson accepted the position as WE Friday Editor, she had just published her first book. Since then she has published several books and I just wanted you to know that I have updated her information on the WE homepage

Andrea Pearson is a music enthusiast who enjoys teaching and playing many instruments, especially the piano and viola. She loves hiking and biking with her husband, oil painting, reading, watching movies, spending time with family and close friends, and thunderstorms. The first three books in her Kilenya Series have been published, along with a couple of shorter romances involving characters from that series. Andrea and her husband live in an awesome neighborhood in a valley that was once covered by vast amounts of water.



 

Anyone who knows me, knows that I am very family oriented.  It is family that I want to share with you today.



Our oldest Grand-daughter had her musical debut in her school concert. She is the blond that sings solo. I think she is amazing!! She is only in the 3rd grade but what a powerful . . .



I also found some interesting posts that I thought you may want to be aware of.  I hope you find them useful.

 

 

 


 So I noticed at the local pumps, that when you take the nozzle from the pump , it leaks a tad bit of gas (about a cup) all over the side of my car and onto the ground. This got me thinking about the gas . . .

Do you often get confused when you are looking for something in particular? You are not alone, it seems that we all forget where things are when we don't access them on a daily basis.

In an attempt to get your questions and problems taken care of in a timely manner, Gather has a staff of customer support agents just for your problems. However, keep in mind that they cannot help you if you don't tell them what is going on.

Please refer all your questions, concerns, and feedback to the official Gather HELP FORM.

The Gather staff will respond (if necessary) by email. The Gather Help Desk will be used for important announcements so feel free to check it out from time to time.

Jax son Pher has to have a biopsy. She is worried to death. I text ed her to get permission to add the information to this post but did not receive a reply at the time of publish.

I now find that she added a bit of the information on the Thursday edition of Today on Gather but I had not seen it yet.

Thanks Connie that does explain why some people have not been on that much or at all. Again I am so glad that you have this for us to all catch up. It makes it so much easier and be able to prioritize for people I feel need encouraging or prayers sent, or just a short word to let them know they are not alone. I do hope that you are feeling better and that things are getting better for you too.

Oh Connie! Thank you for thinking of me. I had a biopsy on my hand and have to wait for 10 agonizing days. Tick Tock. But I have much to be thankful for. My daughter who has Adrenal insufficiency is graduating tomorrow from College. It is a miracle! She has had such a bad year. Tomorrow is a blessing and I am so proud of her. Shan the youngin is in her last month of her first year at Full Sail University online and at home. SO we have our trials and our accomplishments too. I am sending prayers for all our Gather members and their love ones and I will keep praying as long as it takes.

Thanks Connie! My daughter Jordan graduated High School on Friday at a ceremony at the Tampa Bay Convention Center. *Where the Republican Convention will be held) I plan to write an article about it the graduation but I want to get some photos to put with it... and I've been too busy to talk to my husband about it..... with the ceremony and now with fixing meals and the the visitors who are staying with us... I haven't had much time for Gather. I think there were 400 + graduates... We were able to be up in the handicapped section, (with the Grandparents :) ) and it was the best spot in the place. :)
