One of my friends has a personal philosophy that you should do something no matter how awkward it may seem. If something is awkward, you should embrace it. I take her advice sometimes and it tends to work, afterall life can get awkward and has plenty of awkward moments. In college, my friends even had a sign for an awkward moment called the "awkward turtle" (one hand on top of the other, your thumbs are the legs). If a situation was really awkward we blew up the turtle.
Yesterday at church I ended up having two of those awkward moments;
1-One of my group members who I friended on facebook deleted me for NO REASON. Yet he emails me and texts me throughout the week. Then, I sent out an email and he wrote a response to my co-leader and not to me. I wrote the email so, um, awkward?
2-I crashed a wedding with my best friend. We were playing soccer at a lake once and saw a group of people by the edge. We thought nothing of it until we kicked a soccer ball that way on accident and heard...
"And now we present for the first time, Mr and Mrs. ----"
Within five seconds, we grabbed our soccer ball and jumped in the car. Looked at each other and commented how awkward that was. Then, we left....and haven't been back there together since.

Now that I've shared two awkward stories, its your turn.
What's something embarrassing or awkward that has happened to you in the past or recently?

I swear to God I never saw the waitress come by and refill my glass.... so when I grabbed the glass - BOOOSH!!! I tossed all the ice-water into my face.
The polite gal held out for about 15 seconds before this snork of suppressed guffaws burst out. Then she dabbed away at my surprised and soaking face with her napkin, giggling the whole time.
(We've recently celebrated our 42nd wedding anniversary. Luckily she liked this dork!)
How's this one? I'm at the store and looking at the checkout lady who's thin except for her huge, round stomach. I ask, when you are due? She says, I'm not pregnant.
