I am new here and my first post was about finding a dentist in Mexico, buying inexpensive meds in Mexico, and having glasses made in Mexico - something I would encourage all to do in fact.
But then I started wondering, honestly, why are so many people so against ObamaCare? I guess one could argue pro and con for hours and hours, and I don't intend to do that. I am just wondering, in a country with so many uninsured people, why are so many OK with this status quo? Why are so many OK with the concept of lose your job, lose your insurance, have all of what you have worked for placed at risk? As an adult, this all defies my comprehenion, it really does, especially since the United States is the only developed country in the world for which this holds true.
Perhaps ObamaCare is not perfect and not without flaws - but at least it addresses one HUGE flaw of American citizenship - health care not being a basic human right as it is in many other countries. Why are so many against this basic flaw in US citizenship being addressed? As an adult I don't comprehend what one gets of holding this view - what's in it for someone who does?
I hope I have made somone think, who knows maybe I'll get some comments that make ME think.....That would be great, as this is such a huge issue for so many.....Whatever the Supreme Court decision is, I don't know if Americans will ever view health care quite the same way again.
