Lady Gaga cancelled her concert to a sold out crowd in Indonesia amid threats by Muslim extremists. Muslims believe Lady Gaga is not a good example for their youth.

Fox News reports, "The Islamic Defenders Front said Lady Gaga's sexy clothes and provocative dance moves would corrupt youth in the world's most populous Muslim country."

Lady Gaga is nothing but an exhibitionist, but here in the United States, we allow perversion to entertain our children and pervert them. As long as the protests are non-violent, what is Lady Gaga afraid of from protestors.

Personally, I wish more people would protest her disgusting act, and keep her away from the stage. Good for the Muslims!

I have to agree with you on this. I think I'm pretty open minded but I sure don't think she's a good example for our kids either. She's disgusting to me.

Makes me wonder what's wrong with her mother. I don't care how old they are, I would tear my girls up for acting like that.

Keep calling it like it is. You won't have many that follow you or agree with you, but it is taking the STAND that counts!

I keep hoping for some common ground upon which we Christians can work with and agree with the Muslims. Maybe you have hit upon it here. Now if we can just get the Christians to stand up with some backbone and demand that she and her ilk be banned in America.

Who lets their young kids go to a Lady Gaga concert? If people over the age of 18 choose to go, that's their business. Lady Gaga's brand of performance art may be sexually provocative, but no more so than Hollywood movies or cable TV shows, which young people also have access to. I wouldn't applaud any society - Muslim, Christian or otherwise - for constricting artistic freedom. It's the parents' job to keep their young children away from what they consider inappropriate, not society's. Artists have a right to their artistic expression.

See, the thing about being an artist is, Alice G.'s personal taste is not the deciding factor in what art is. Erin O'Riordan's personal taste is not the deciding factor. Taste is subjective, and community standards vary, but none of that should affect the artist. The artist passionately pursues what's in his or her heart, influenced by past artists, whether it suits your personal taste - or mine - or not.

OK my grandkids have seen her act,, it is the parent and grandparent responsibity to say, this is only an act,, We have seen her here in Nebraska as a normal person,. that is all she is a normal person who is acting out her talents.
