The recent CBSE 10th class results for 2012 revealed a high success rate for students who took the Class X exams. This news has been pleasing not only to students, but also to the Delhi government as well.
The CBSE exam results were just recently declared after students had many sleepless nights anticipating their scores. However, many of them in the Delhi region really had nothing to worry about. According to IBNLive, this year's success rate on the CBSE exam results saw 226,003 of 228,240 students who took the exam qualify for higher education after taking the exam. Delhi Education Minister Arvinder Singh Lovely commented:
"99 per cent students qualified in the examination which is almost equivalent to last year's percentage."
Reportedly, the success rate was up from 98.52% last year to 98.83% this year. Also of note in the Delhi region, girls outperformed the boys. Females who took the exams had 98.32% success rate compared to 97.57% for the males.
It's clear that this region has some smart and determined students. When all is said and done, hopefully many of these students will move forward into further educational studies, and brilliant careers. While some say exams and test scores, or grades don't really define someone, these marks seem to indicate an example of educational excellence in Delhi schools.
