As he should. President Obama Continue's to break down barriors and make history. Since 2008 President Obama has been in support of Gay rights. And Owning up to his original platform, the president still stands by what he said. Actions speak louder that words, and through his actions he has kept his word. The President has repealed the millitary's "dont ask, dont tell" policy, and has been apart of the It Gets Better Campaign to stop gay teen suicides. Among that, there has been many outspoken moments of showing support for the LGBT community.

This is such a controversial issue, but it should'nt be. Too many gay/Lesbian Americans are committing suicide because they are ostracized and shuned from society. Weather we like it or not, it's a society that they are a part of, with their contributions in the Millitary, and in science, and technology. With those who work in the medical feild, the doctors, and nurses. Those who help us out of a jam, the lawyers, and bankers. They are the people we see every day, the shop owners, community organizers, our neighbors, and with their dollars they spend it in the community. It's time we show our respect to every American who has a right to be here. Im gald the president is taking a stand. Even though he is not a gay man, he understands what it's like to be discriminated against.

Thank You MR. President!
