Jessica Sanchez Sings An Amazing Duet With Jennifer Holiday in Idol Finale

Last night was American idols season finale and although Jessica Sanchez was not not the winner she did steal the show last night along with Jennifer Holiday who won a Grammy for her part in dream girls many years ago. 

Jennifer Holiday was out to prove she has not lost a single bit of that powerful voice of hers and her performance was so full of passion as she sang And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going that she actually had Jessica completely wrapped up in to it too and the two were amazing together. 

Unfortunately all of the videos of the performance that were posted last night and this morning have been taken down, I am sure they will re-surface in a couple of days and I will post a link then.  You have got to see this performance.

Sanchez is a great imitator,

And Holiday sang it like she did in the original musical,
they way it was ment to be sung

Nobody has ever sang it as good as she does. Man, I have never seen anyone with so much passion before in my life.

That is very cool. Lee DeWyze who won a couple of years back lives a few towns over from me and I got to go to his home town concert. It was a real treat, he was very humble and played a lot more songs then he was supposed to. The whole experience was really cool

I am not a Jessica fan but I thought she held her own with Jennifer. No one sings it as well as she does and never will. I thought that that was most likely the most monumental thing that will ever happen to her. She has a great voice but she has to learn how to sing other kinds of songs. She only sings these big ballads and that is probably why she lost. She has no imagination, she is too young to really be able to feel the feelings from most songs because she has not lived enough to handle them. She will have a great career but I was thrilled that Phil won. He is older and can deal with the fame better. He has more of a range, he has more imagination and makes the songs his own. I love him!
