KATY PERRY And ROBERT ACKROYD Call It Quits

KATY PERRY is back on the market again because she and her sort-of new boyfriend ROBERT ACKROYD have called it quits.

That was fast.

Wondered why Katy brought her grandma as her date to last Sunday’s Billboard Awards and not Robert Ackroyd? As it turns out, star news tells us that she and her “Florence + the Machine guitarist” boyfriend are now officially over roughly 4 weeks after being spotted together at the Coachella Music Festival.

Although, source told Us Weekly that it wasn’t much of a surprise:

“It wasn’t that serious. It’s not a nasty thing and they are still talking, but Katy told him to do his thing and they’ll talk soon.”

No worries, it’s nothing like her dramatic split from her ex-husband Russell Brand. The source explained:

“No hard feelings. She’s really busy and so is he.”

Hmm. We wondered if her song “Wide Awake,” which she performed at the Billboard Music Awards had meant anything. The curvy pop star sang:

“I’m wide awake. I was in the dark, I was falling hard with an open heart. How did I read the stars so wrong. I was dreaming for so long. I wish I knew then what I know now. I wouldn’t dive in, I wouldn’t bow down.

Could it be about Robert or Russell?
