Glee will air its big season three finale tonight, and fans are wondering what is next for some of this series' most popular couples, and this includes Brittany and Santana. With Santana graduating, Gloria Estefan will arrive on scene as her mother, and she will cause some tension as she tries to give her daughter advice for the future.
When it comes to her mother, it doesn't sound like the fact she is dating a girl, Brittany played by Heather Morris, is the problem - the fact she is in a serious relationship at this time in her life is the issue. Estefan said the following, according to The Hollywood Reporter:
"Maribel thinks a relationship at that age is going to tie you down to some degree, and as a parent, you want your child to have time to blossom. It's tough to start that early in a relationship but you want them to feel loved and to experience that; all that is going through her head."
It doesn't sound like Maribel will be able to change her daughter's mind though. It took Brittany and Santana a lot of time to get where they are now, and that work will not go to waste. These will remain together. Naya Rivera teased their future by saying the following, according to Wet Paint:
"It's not an ending, so I don't think there will be any issues with that. The last episode is very, very sweet."
These two have been a focus on the series since the beginning, and it doesn't sound like things will end for them anytime soon. They will have some bumps in the road, but that is to be expected with any relationship.
