Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev appear to be in different countries. The lovebirds flew out of New York City on Friday and while many fans believed that they ended up somewhere together, that doesn't seem to be the case. It is only a matter of time before they catch up to one another 
again and it could even be as soon as this week.
"Reporting live from some beautiful island in the Philippines where it's on my time schedule impossible to sleep past 5AM :( SO beautiful here (sic)," Ian tweeted on Sunday. On Monday, Nina tweeted a photo from Cannes, suggesting that she is at the film festival in France.
Ian Somerhalder might leave the Philippines and meet up with Nina Dobrev at Cannes, which is going on until Sunday, May 27. If not, it's more than likely that they will be back together in Los Angeles sometime soon. They have been traveling a ton since wrapping season 3 of The Vampire Diaries, but they seem to be enjoying seeing new places.
