Celebrity babes Selena Gomez, Kristen Stewart and Nina Dobrev all rank on the latest Maxim Hot 100 2012 edition. However, none of these three made it to the top 10, or the coveted #1 spot. Who was the hottest choice of them all?
Maxim fielded reader opinions to figure out who made the cut when it comes to the hottest 100 females on the planet right now. Others on the list included in the top 10 were Olivia Munn, Mila Kunis, Emma Stone and Megan Fox, but none of them were the #1 choice. According to USA Today, it was in fact model Bar Refaeli, the former girlfriend of actor Leonardo DiCaprio who topped the list. Refaeli said of getting the top spot:
"Every year, it's a different girl that I look up to. For me to be among them, it's an honor."
Maxim editor Dan Bova said the new #1 female shows the global reach of the magazine, and that the readers appreciate her beauty, even though she's not famous for modeling spreads or hit movies. Bova added, "She's at this incredible level right now where she's about to become even bigger." The fact she is listed as #1 in terms of hotness could certainly fuel more internet searches for the model as well.

The three females listed in the title of this article, Selena Gomez, Kristen Stewart, and Nina Dobrev, ranked at 24th, 15th, and 84th respectively. Some may argue that Nina or Selena is hotter than Kristen Stewart, but there's probably a lot of "Twi-hards" out there from the population who disagree. Other interesting choices on the list include WWE Divas Champion Layla El, Lois Griffin at #85, and the first-ever male on the list, Stephen Colbert who ranks #69. Score one for men's rights in 2012?
