Joan Rivers' bad Whitney joke takes a hit. Joan Rivers who no longer even looks like Joan Rivers has always been a bit on the edgy side, but her Rivers' bad Whitney joke may have put her over the top in tasteless rhetoric.
The joke was in her book, According to the Huffington Post, "I Hate Everyone...Starting With Me."
In Joan Rivers' book, according to the Huffington Post, "'I hate Houston. It's crawling with bugs. Oh, wait, that's Whitney Houston; I'm sorry, my bad. (Can I just mention that Whitney looked fabulous at the Grammys? She was in mahogany from head to toe.)'"
Where is the joke. I think it is disgusting the way the media plays Whitney Houston as a goddess. She was a talented drug addict who lost her life. What the message the media has given is if you are talented enough you can do drugs and still get many accolades, but Joan Rivers went too far the other way, and now, she is reaping what she sowed for her tasteless joke about Houston.
