No Internet...

You won't be seeing me around, as my internet is down and has been for a couple of days. It's so frustrating. I'm currently at the neighbor's house....I've called ATT and talking to 2 different people got nothing accomplished. The ATT guy is suppose to come tomorrow.

Good luck. It's so awful to say this, but like Ed said, "and then things will get worse." I hope not. I almost have an anxiety attack when I can't get on my computer...it's like I am addicted!

what happened to me, after Gather went down for maintenance, my clutch cable on my motorcycle broke, (for the first of 2 times.)
...One pair of jeans ripped, two t shirts ripped to where even I wont wear them.
A "TV Tuner" for the pc wuld not work, so I HAD to send it bach.
I switched internet providers, and I have yet to be able to pay my bill, for whatever it is.
and my sister is pressing me to se my mother for "one last time" because she is 93.
And I can not leave my pet birds behind.
amoung other stuff going wrong.
SInce I have stopped smoking, I have found out just how BAD my cooking is.
And no answer on 4 supposedly incoming payments

Total bummer! I was unable to get internet connection much of Thursday and Friday because of car ferry trip to Washington Island and back. It was not easy to catch up.

I never call anyone, my son fixes the issues.ATT is my carrier, I was off, probably needed to get it reset due to weather interference. I do not know if you will get to see this or not before you deal with the repair person. Unplug the router from the modem. Turn off the modem, turn off the computer. Restart the desktop first (do you have one) and it usually kicks things back on. Anyway, it sure helps to have someone in person look at the computer.

My internet service really bites. In the last few days I've tried to download both a new browser and another update, and both of them aborted! I definitely need broadband. I think we just don't get enough electric power where it's needed, so maybe I need one of those UPS power supplies. Thanks for posting this!

Hope you're able to get it fixed soon. We have pretty good service but we've had annoying hiccups and you don't realize how much you use online access for until you lose it!

only one company worse than frontier and that is ATT good luck with them if its their lines which is its dsl it could be make the credit your bill for the days you didnt have internet

Oh my, we hated Frontier. That is who we had when we had our landline phone disconnected. They kept promising to have phone fixed and did not do it. After a month of complaining, I told them they broke the contract not us. I wanted our phone disconnected without penelty. They did so.
