The Powerball jackpot finally hit $100,000,000, and who couldn't use that for a summer vacation? Match all six Powerball winning numbers on May 19, 2012, and you could be the latest multimillionaire, soaking up the sun on the beach with your toes in the sand, and a cold drink in your hand!
You'll have to pay taxes on your prize winnings though. Expect to fork over 25 percent in federal taxes, plus whatever your state taxes are. You'll still have plenty of money left over even if you do plan to take the one-time lump-sum payment of $63,800,000. Remember, you can't win if you don't play!

Latest Powerball Winners
Three Wisconsin lottery winners struck it rich this past Wednesday, with $1,000,000 Powerball prizes. The lottery winners matched five out of six Powerball winning numbers, but not the Powerball number for the May 16th drawing. It's still not clear if two of the winners purchased the same numbers at the same store or not. No one has come forward to claim their prizes yet. The two $1,000,000 winning tickets were sold at Vagyon Enterprises, 3870 S. Howell Avenue, in Milwaukee.
The third $1,000,000 winning ticket that was sold at Kwik Trip, 45 E. Chestnut, in Chilton, was claimed Friday by Jeannette Sroka of Malone. The Wisconsin Powerball winner walked away with $672,500 after taxes were paid. That's not a bad haul for a $1 wager! The retailer will receive a $20,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket, so it's a win-win for both Jeannette Sroka and the Kwik Trip store!
Had the second-tier Wisconsin Powerball winners spent an extra dollar on Power Play tickets, they would have had their prize winnings doubled to $2,000,000. Better luck next time!
