A whole bunch of gatherers also make a few cents over on Super Points Network. A few of them probably make hundreds. but that might just be coming to an end.
Yesterday the higher ups over on Super points made some changes to the earnings system. Honestly i can't believe it took them this long to realize the old model was unsustainable. Basically you can't earn a TON of money from referrals anymore. They cap the earnings to 1000 points per referral. Whereas it used to be unlimited. This means basically nothing to members like me who have a whole 2 referrals in the first place. But to those with thousands...this is a game changer.
But not only did they drastically cut the earning potential of many of their most adamant members, they also made those earnings mean even less!
Each point used to equal one cent. pretty simple right?
from what i saw with a quick glance over the rewards catalog they have increased the cost of a reward about 33% (a $10 paypal is now 1336 points) They say that they will put things on "sale" every week...but lets face it, most of us want the paypal and amazon payments and those will NEVER go on sale.
I will be sticking it out, because i hardly earned there in the first place, but the random emails and super lucky button earnings have made me a few bucks in the past and with the essentially zero effort i put into the site i see no reason to leave. However i can foresee some of their biggest members, the ones that made the site grow, being a little bit pissed off about these changes and brewing up one helluva public relations storm...
What are your thoughts on the recent changes to Super points network?
