Travesty on American Idol Last Night

It has been kind of a thing over the years on Idol for the best person to come in second.  Not every year but it has happened several times.  Last night the best person ended up in third place and was sent home before the finale. 

Joshua Ledet is one of the best singers to ever grace the idol stage and he was booted off last night.  He should have been the overall winner with talented young Jessica Sanchez close behind. 

The finale will consist of Phillip Phillips and Jessica Sanchez.  Phillip is pretty good but honestly I thought he should have been elinated about 3 shows ago so I am surprised he will actually be in the final and won out over someone so talented as Joshua. In fact the web site Votefortheworst.com has had Phillip on their site more than once and he is up there right now.  They must be tickled with joy as it seems they might get their way this year.  Votefortheworst is a site sort of dedicated to ruining the outcomes of reality singing shows by getting people to vote for the worst contestants to invalidate the shows. 

Over all I have to say that nobody was really bad in this years American Idol they are all a bunch of talented kids.  I mean no disrespect to Phillip who is adorable but he is not as good as Joshua few people are.
