'Waiting for Gather.com'

At the bottom of my computer screen all I see is, "Waiting for Gather.com!" I love Gather, and I have to admit, I am addicted to this site, but I am so tired of waiting for Gather.com that I just quit Superpoints.

I can't spend my entire life spinning wheels. I would comment more on Gather, but it takes so doggone long to load a page. I read and view a lot more than I comment. I love helping out the writers on Gather, but it is so darn slow!

Okay, I feel better. So "Gather ye rosebuds while ye may!"

I totally understand your frustration! I am having much less wait time these days (knock on wood). I'm going to hang in on Superpoints for a cashout (most likely months from now!

Gather needs to clean up their banner ads -- the animations and the number of banner ads make it load slowly

I agree with you. I have most of the ads blocked on Safari so it's a bit faster to get through group content.
