I hope to get another Target gift card "soon" ...

 

I miss Borders. I always ordered old movies, LOL

Target has movies, but not all the old ones.  So I am more practical when shopping there. How boring...

ha ha

Wow! 3000 POINTS! Wow! It takes me six months to get enough points to cash out for a $10 pay pal thingy! I used to get the Target card before I moved and I would share it with my Coffee Club friends but since I moved into my new house last year I've become stingy and greedy and keep it all for myself and spend it on stuff for my home. (I think I feel guilty and I'm not Catholic, LOL!). I went to the Goodwill Store this morning to look through their books, I haven't been there in a while. I found a first edition autographed copy of Catherine Marshall's "To Live Again" (it didn't have the dust jacket) for only $1.50. Just having a signed copy of her book was worth way more than the $1.50 price tag to me. I shall put it on my book shelves right next to "Hollywood Sinners" and "The Joan Crawford Murders". Gotta love books. I seldom use my ereader (I'm finding that it's mostly a nusiance, LOL!)

Good for you with your points and gift cards. You could always do PayPal or Amazon and have them shipped from whatever place you choose.

Good for you Peter, do you know sometimes dollar stores have dvd's of old movies? I have gotten some this way and only $1.00, LOL.

Would you believe that, when I was in college, I would always schedule ALL my classes around the daily "Dark Shadows" programs, as I loved it that much.......LOL!!!!!! Oh yeah!!!!!!! I am working on getting the entire set of old "Dark Shadows" programs/DVDs.....
Hey, have you seen the new "special offer" that recently came out? It's a coffin shaped box w/Barnabas and the whole set of DVDs? I think it was originally $600 but they were on sale for something like $500.....yikes!!!!!!
Amazon.com has tons of "Dark Shadows" stuff!!

The coffin set looks so cool, but I'm not buying it all over again.

It's still cheaper than when I bought it one box at a time, as they were first coming out, LOL

I don't know if I want to see the new one, since I'm so stuck on the old one!

I missed it all the first time it was shown. The school bus took too long to get out to that farm.

Yeah, I'm not sure about seeing the new one, cause I'll probably be comparing it to the "original," but keep thinking I need to see it, as there are cameo appearances by 4 of the originals, including Jonathan Frid....that does make me want to see it.......will let you know what I think of it.

I love those old movies... I was talking with someone a couple of days ago about old movies... Do you remember the movie with Hugh Obrian and Fabian, called "Ten Little Indians"? I loved that old mystery...Or how about Madamn X with Lana Turner?My favorite though I think is with Gary Cooper, "High Noon". I loved "Hush , Hush , Sweet Charlotte". I felt so sorry for her...
