Gather Prayer list- May 16, 2012 The Baby is born!... Please Pray Tonight...

Dear Heavenly Father,

We Thank you Lord, Today for all you do for us.  We all give thanks today for all our families and friends.  We thank you today and every day for all the blessings you have given us in our lives.

We ask you, Lord to touch everyone's heart to realize how much you love them and how you want everyone to be free of the past by accepting the gift of Jesus who died for us all and takes away the sins of the world. We pray they can realize they can live a guilt free life full of the peace that only you can give them. Knowing your mercy and forgiveness upon them, may they forgive others and reunite with loved ones and have joy back in their lives. May all realize that it's not in the getting and the giving of gifts that happiness lies, it's in walking in love towards one another.

Comfort  those who hurt over heartaches, help them trust in you and your knowledge , and help those through the issues they hurt over. Help those too that the issues have ended to survive them.

Bless our country and help our leaders find real answers to the problems of unemployment and poverty in our country. Help those who ask for you help find miracles in their lives they never believed possible. We give thanks today and everyday for your love and mercy and all the blessings you pour down to us. We ask that you guide us in all things and help us avoid what will hurt us. We pray for peace around our world and for those who do not know you, to know you and love you as we do. Lord, please bless all those who read/pray for others and those on this list for taking the time and caring enough to stop and spend some time praying. And for those who now well.

We come to you on behalf of those listed below and ourselves in the belief that you will hear and grant our prayers. Bring comfort to those who need comfort, bring peace to those who need peace and bring love to those who need love. We accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior and repent of our sins and know that they are forgiven by you forever. May we resist living in guilt and shame when we remember what we have done, may remembering only draw us closer to you for your forgiveness and giving us hope in our lives. We thank you for the gift of eternal life and all that lies beyond this world when we are finished with our race here. We ask for your touch and your gift of healing in our lives in all things.

We stand firm in belief in the following scriptures: Jeremiah 33:6 says 'Behold, I will bring it, health and healing, and I will heal them; and I will reveal to them an abundance of peace and truth.

Luke 4:49 While the sun was setting, all those who had any who were sick with various diseases brought them to Him; and laying His hands on each one of them, He was healing them.

Luke 6:19 And all the people were trying to touch Him, for power was coming from Him and healing them all.

James 5:16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much. (It says righteous, not self righteous)

We repent and return to you Lord as it says in

Isaiah 6:10 Render the hearts of this people insensitive,Their ears dull, And their eyes dim, Otherwise they might see with their eyes,Hear with their ears, Understand with their hearts, And return and be healed."

It is our belief that through the power of the Holy Spirit that we and those we pray for are healed in our body mind and souls. We cast out all evil powers and principalities by the power of the blood of Jesus and we believe we our prayers are answered- As it is in Heaven, so shall it be on earth. Please give strength and comfort those listed below and help them through their crisis's through the power of the God.

We walk by faith and not by sight and we stand firm in our belief and faith in the miraculous power of God

Psalm 103:3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; Who healeth all thy diseases;

We pray Lord that you heal our waters, with all the disasters that has happened in the Gulf of Mexico as well as other waters around our world..and the latest nuclear plant problems in Japan We can't imagine the potential long term damage that this may cause.

Please Lord we pray you move your mighty powerful hand and heal our waters as you have done before. Guide and help us all help your creatures big and small that dwell in these waters. May this be a warning to all mankind, but deliver us from this causing long term problems to our planet.

2Kings 2:21 And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast salt therein, and said, Thus saith Jehovah, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or miscarrying.

Hear our prayers, lord for ourselves, our nation and our world. For the recent events where our law enforcement officers were killed. For the current situations around the world and all these unusual events and earthquakes.

We pray for all those around the world who are in bondage of any kind and that you will guide those who can help set them free and to meet their needs. Hear our prayers for those who are abused, mistreated and murdered. Hear our prayers for those whose lives have changed because the the economic problems in our country as well as around the world.

Thank you God, Thank You Jesus and Thank you Holy Spirit. All Glory be to God on the Highest, Forever and ever,

Someone dear to me needs prayers over an influence in her life that she needs prayer over.  She needs your help Lord to push this influence out of her life.  Thank you Lord for helping her.

Someone contacted me asking for prayers for Katie... it sounds like she is making some bad decisions that might have dire consequences and she needs our prayers to help her through the mess she is in, dear Lord please hold Katie and her child in your hands, draw her closer to you and help guide her.. and help her to see what she needs to see so she can avoid more drama in her life.  Please Lord, help all the "Katie's" in our lives who our words and warnings don't seem to reach, Lord we pray in love that you, the all powerful almighty, step in and help us... we ask this in Jesus's most precious name.  Amen.

I just got word long time Gather member Spencer T died last night. Lisa Frost sent me an email.  Karen had let her know that our dear friend had passed away.  Lord, comfort and give your strength to Karen, all the children and grandchildren and all Spencer's loved ones in Jesus's most precious name.  Rest in peace Spencer, I will sorely miss you.

Pamela Marks 's mother in law who is ill and went to the hospitaland for her  cousin's daughter Tiara she went into labor too early and they now have her on bed rest

My heart goes out to his family and loved ones. Lord strengthen and comfort them at this time.

Please pray for Katryn D. 's mother who is back in a nursing home and for her husband Sean who is having surgery on May 8th.  Lord be with Katryn and her family during this time, comfort and strengthen them and guide their doctors as how best to help. Update - Sean is back home and recovering

Linda T. contacted me and said her Mom fell down her basement stairs and broke her hip. She has breathing difficulties so they did a spinal block during her surgery.  Her Dad left and had a heart attack en-route to his car. He was able call her Brother who called on-star who located him in the parking lot of the hospital. He had angioplasty done and a stint put in his heart. Update- her mother is in a nursing home getting rehab and her father recovered enough to go home.

Amanda J. has great news, she is expecting again, but it's a high risk pregnancy as she lost their daughter at 27 weeks, so please pray for her and the new baby.

Larry H. 's daughter is pregnant with twins and it's a high risk pregnancy too, please pray for his daughter and her new babies.

Joy O. has been admitted into the hospital (Mayo). Please pray for her to get better soon. Update: Joy has been released.

Janie E adopted daughter Rebecca needs to make a decision about surgery.  Her condition has worsened.

Please pray for Heather W. 's husband who is ill and has abdominal pain. Update they found out the problem and he was treated. He will be back at work soon, if he is not already.

Prayers for *Carol ~Bronx Southern Belle D. her mother and her family.  Her mother has passed away.  Lord strengthen and comfort them during this time.

Renee let me know Jean R B. Jean ( Jean's - link to article) got a call from the Arizona police, her son Richard Cine has been found dead in his home from a massive heart attack. Our heart goes out to her and her family at this time.  Lord give them all the strength to get through this and the comfort that only you can.

Annmarie B. Please pray Annmarie, is getting a serious of shots each month and if they don't work, then she will be going for chemo.  Pray this works.

Barb Carlson's youngest son Aaron was hit head on by an SUV that was on the wrong side of the road on Thursday... and is in intensive care. His spine is injured and he has numerous broken bones and he needs our prayers.  Please Lord heal this young man and give his family and him the strength to get through this.  Comfort them O Lord as only you can.

Renee (Pres of Baby James Foundation) ~. asks prayers for

DIANE D. 's son Levi who has been brought to the hospital after a bad car wreck.  Please Lord help this young man survive his injuries and recovery from this tragedy.  Update: Levi will never be able to work again and is very upset over the lost of his friend.  Please remember him in your prayers...

Jennine D. asks prayers for friend Julia's grandson Alexander Gerard Ciesielski who is 6 weeks old and being operated on. He has a 50-50 chance of survival.

Norma Donald M.. "is in the ICU and they are running a bunch of tests on her. She has a UTI and they also had to give her blood again. She's awake and alert for the most part. They also found a spot on her lung but not sure if they want to biopsy it due to her current condition. My friends, my family, my loved ones and everyone on Gather that needs prayers for things I am unaware of or all the unspoken prayers.

All these people all need your help Lord. Please touch their hearts and lives with your everlasting love. We also lift up in prayer all the children who are being born/adopted, for the birth and adopted parents also. We pray the delays will be over soon. We pray for all the children waiting for a parent who are in orphanages around the world. We pray for those parents and the children who are very ill and need your help to live, Lord. We pray for all parents who have lost their child whether it be to injury, illness or death.. comfort them in their great loss. It is so hard to lose a child as you know, Lord, as you watched Jesus suffer on the cross and knew you could not change that because of the good that would come out of it......

John 1:29 On the morrow he seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold, the Lamb of God, that taketh away the sin of the world!

We pray for all on Gather who are hurting right now. We pray for jobs and financial help for all those who are struggling with the current economic downfall.We really need your help Lord, many people are hurting and we need your help so desperately right now. So many people are frightened with the financial changes in their lives. Comfort them and help them put the pieces back.

We need your help and guidance all over the world right now. We pray for those struggling with all diseases and handicaps. Lord help people understand the plight of the poor, the elderly and handicapped. Please help all our veterans, whether they were permanently injured or suffer from the nightmare they lived through. Lead all to let them know that their sacrifice's were not in vain.

Lord thank you for the blessings you have given us and your everlasting love in our lives.We pray for all the people affected by the series of earthquakes and natural disasters around the world. We pray, Lord that you guide those working to find solutions to the oil crisis. We need a miracle for healing our wildlife and waters, Lord. Please help us all through all our trials and tribulations and draw us closer to you. Guide us and help us today and every day. Your will be done. Help all who are struggling in their lives, help us to learn to pray for our enemies and the people who hurt us to believe in you so they can stop the hurting that causes them to hurt others.

We ask that you touch the hearts of those involved with the military and bring all our troops home soon!

"May we pray as one body in Christ and agree in that prayer that God our loving father would just saturate all with Body, Mind and spirit with His Holy Spirit and just drench all in rivers of life giving water that may continue to bare witness in everyone's life to the greatness of almighty God and his mercy. I thank all of you who pray this list with me! I appreciate your help and I pray for you to have an abundance of blessings in your lives! Make sure you add in your own family and loved ones. Please update me when you can so I can update the list- I need help with this as sometimes I don't know when there is a change. We all need prayer to help us on our way.

I have a prayer to add of my own, please pray for my family and also for me.  My daughter will be graduating soon and I try to avoid malls and places with lots of people as much as I can because I have a history of anxiety attacks when around large groups.  I am praying I won't have an anxiety attack and I would appreciate prayers.  I'm concerned... because I would not miss seeing her get her diploma for the world... but I dread the idea of being in a large group. Thank you...
