This is the first part of building your immunity system. Â I've researched studies, read medical articles and double checked facts to put together the best I can find to help you have better health naturally.
It's a proven fact, eating certain foods can improve your health?
Easy fixes for everything from Asthma and the blues to muscle aches and heart health. You can do it yourself with these natural guidelines.
The best place to start, is to eliminate common viruses, cold and flu, you've got to stop the bad guys--germs that invade your space, especially the spaces you touch.
A healthy immune system is a must to fight those germs that lurk everywhere you turn, like doorknobs, money, even the coffee cup from your local cafe contains germs that you don't see.
Create a healthy immune system and you can fight those germs instead of letting them fight you with disease and illness.

Garlic and Ginger are considered natural immunity builders.
Green Tea is another, and taken several times a day is recommended.
Good night's sleep is paramount. Your body has extra healing powers when you sleep
Fruits and Vegetables, especially those high in Vitamin C are a must on any natural health fix-it list.
Now that fresh fruit and produce are coming into our local Farmer's Markets, stock up. Â Freeze extras to have immunity fighting food on hand when fresh is hard to get. Â Especially locally fresh.
Water is beneficial in keeping the system flushed out and often helps you avoid sugary snacks, which are not considered good for the immune system. Â Add some lemon to the water and if you want a little sweet a bit of local honey.
Lemon is a great Vitamin C rich fruit that can help your skin from withing. Try drinking lemon water three or four a times a day and notice your skin in three or four weeks.
Do you have frequent headaches? Â Believe it or not, low magnesium levels have been associated with headaches, especially migraines.
Â
Do you believe food can heal some of our ills?

I've been told to stop taking all vitamin supplements and herbal products except for Vitamin C, until after the surgery. It's always wise to check with your health care provider!
I have fresh ginger, fresh lime, fresh fruits and veggies most of the time. I try to keep processed foods out of my diet, but sometimes that is not quite possible.
Cardio and stretching are important.
It is not wise to use antiseptic washes, as our bodies need to stay strong by fighting dirt. A certain amount of dirt or biodiversity in our bacterial system is important. it is like keeping a battery alive by letting it charge itself, rather than preventing it from charging.
Now to sleep.
Such simple things, but they make a profound difference!
This is a great post, Mary. You do so much for us.
My son's asthma abated 8 months after getting off gluten grains. We're talking air filtration in his bedroom, antihistamines, inhalers, etc., all became unneeded. Have you ever heard of anyone getting CURED of asthma?? He had 25 symptoms of ill health, most of which abated on a gluten-free diet. Makes me wonder about what's behind the epidemic of asthma (which is an immune disorder)....
:) Now I try to avoid them.
