Fan Attacks Bethenny Frankel After Asking for...

Bethenny Frankel surprised her husband Jason Hoppy with a brand new Mac laptop on Monday's episode of Bethenny Ever After as his new working computer, should he decide to join her in her business, SkinnyGirl. During the conversation, Bethenny's tone came across as 'if you want to work for me, here is a computer. If not, it is going to a new employee.' In other words, the computer wasn't for Jason personally, but more to the next worker for her business, whether it is Jason or someone new.

One fan wrote to Bethenny about her tone of voice, essentially attacking her for asking for the computer back if Jason rejected her offer. "Did @Bethenny really ask for her mac book BACK from her husband!!? Run Jason Run! This chic is loony!!! #awfulwife," the fan wrote to the business mogul.

But Bethenny Frankel didn't take the message so seriously. She didn't think she was an awful wife to telling Jason that if he wanted to join the business, there would be a computer waiting for him. "Simmer," Bethenny wrote back to the fan. "Of course I gave Jason the MacBook. Use it for work or watch porn on it. It ain't that serious." And it isn't that big of a deal. She is trying to make Jason feel welcome for her business without spoiling him with Apple products. Just because she is rich doesn't mean she has to buy her husband into the company.

I don't care either way about her "tone". I think if she is truly using something like a computer to try to manipulate him, that is sorry. She has so much money, why would she do him like that, or try to coerce him into working for Skinny if he doesn't want to? He has been so supportive, and been positive, whatever she does. She should respect him the same. If she doesn't, I see divorce around the corner. She better straighten up, he's a gem! Wouldn't want to try to find another like him. He is a bit of a Mama's boy, but all in all a real keeper!

Char you took the words right outa my fingers. I think he should stay with his business ventures because he did say he liked that work. The stupid computer is besides the point other than to Bethenny its all tit for tat. He would be much better off away from her in the time it takes for him to explore his interests. He can help her but in business he should not comitt to being an employee. How degrading. Jason, go sell some real estate or even some unreal estate. You'd be better off. Bethenny stop being so mean and bosssy and get over yourself. Go count your money.

Everybody should try to find a job they really like. You work such a big part of it! I have worked where I didn't like it, we all have to at times; but he should not have to. Not if she loves him. In her defense, I'm sure she is so driven, and feels she neglects him so wants him with her, but if he doesn't want that she should try trusting him! Wanting him to do what makes him happy out of love.
