The search for missing 15-year-old Sierra LaMar has gone back to the water after equipment has reportedly picked up "shadows" and other anomalies that detectives want to investigate. It's being reported that sonar images captured during searches last week are being described as "questionable," and divers are set to investigate and "verify" what the items may be.
It's a possibility that the divers may encounter evidence in the disappearance of Sierra LaMar. The Morgan Hill teen has been missing now for two months with very little evidence making it to headline news. This high-profile case has been confusing and mysterious from the beginning, and what little is known only adds further to the mounting anxiety.
There have been no other investigative updates since the revelation of the next dive, so hopefully good news is to follow. If Sierra is in any of the bodies of water nearby, it will be a turn of events that will shift this entire investigation. However, police have acknowledged that they believe the missing cheerleader might be alive. Hopefully they are right.
