Beyonce and her baby, Blue Ivy Carter, will be getting more company at home soon. Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter is thinking about taking a break from running his hip hop empire to stay home and spend time with them. Jigga is fortunate enough to be in a place, financially, where he can take off without it affecting his income.
Bey is the one New Yorkers have grown accustomed to seeing around the city with Blue Ivy strapped to her. Now, they may start seeing her husband doing the same as well. It will be quite a sight to see big strong Carter carrying his delicate baby around in a baby carrier.
On Monday Jay-Z said, "I thought I would be more inspired to have all these new feelings to talk about, but I really just want to hang out with my daughter. I want to enjoy this time for what it is. I'm sure that bug to get back in the studio will come back at some point."
The music industry and his protégés can wait. Carter has been an amazing mentor to them, but it's time he bring the same knowledge to his daughter. Maybe Jay-Z will help Beyonce teach Blue Ivy about what Bey thinks are important in life. That's what parents are supposed to do.
