Katherine Jenkins updated fans Tuesday after suffering a painful lower back injury on Dancing with the Stars 2012 Monday night. She broke down in tears when she couldn't fully complete her dance routine, earning 28 points for her performance.
Katherine tweeted late Tuesday morning:
"Morning all... Thanks for your tweets of support & concern. The good news is that I'm feeling better, just a little sore #OnwardsAndUpwards"
After her second dance Monday night, Jenkins wasn't willing to give much attention to her injury. She wanted to give her best performance and was more concerned with putting her all into the competition. She told Dancing with the Stars co-host Brooke Burke that the pain affected her back.
In a tweet after visiting the doctor, Katherine Jenkins let fans know what the diagnosis was.
"Thank you for all your concerned tweets... I'm with the Doctor, he says it was a reflectorical spasm in my lower back"

The elimination episode of Dancing with the Stars 2012 airs Tuesday night at 9:00 p.m., ET/PT on ABC.
