The school prayer contested by Jessica Ahlquist is in the news again. It's been removed from the halls of Cranston High School West and a Supreme Court judge has declared this a dead and done issue. So why is an overzealous group in Rhode Island still insisting on rabble-rousing on this issue? Do these people not realize how ridiculous they look?
The school prayer was ruled unconstitutional over the past year and the group of seven people have tried contesting the judge's final ruling before. They were dismissed the first time because they couldn't prove that they had standing in this matter, nor was their request timely. Now they're attempting to appeal the ruling that barred them from intervening.
It seems like these anti-constitution types are as overzealous as the birthers and their silly and frivolous lawsuits. These people are failing to realize that Jessica Ahlquist was victorious in this and so was the rest of the secular country who watched the removal of the prayer unfold. This is a done issue and it's time to move on.
