I hope each of you had a wonderful Mothers day.  Today I want to share posts from gather members about Mothers Day.  I also want to share a few updates on members who are experiencing hard times of one kind or another.

Jan Will Be Having Surgery

Jan Will Be Haing Surgery May 23 to remove a brain tumor. She had a cerebral aneurysm repaired last November. She would never have known about either of these if not for a car accident. God works in mysterious ways."

It was a miserable trip home. Lots of wrecks. Fog and rain. Still raining today. I am back in bed again. LOL Roger is asleep and I have all the lights out doing this post. LOL

I told Roger, next year to just leave me at home. I was so stressed from the trip home that it over-shadowed the nice Saturday.

As you know my birthday and mothers day fall within a few weeks of each other. Victoria took us to Surf Side to Crabby Mikes. Oh my gosh it is so good and there are so many varieties of food. I love oysters and they make the best. I love crab legs. Just with I could get someone take out the meat for me so I could eat more. LOL

It was my Mothers day/Birthday gift combined into one and it was great. We had to take two cars but we still had a great time. Haley and Parker can put away the seafood!

She wanted us to come down so she could do that for me. that is why we went. We had a coupon for bogo sausage biscuit at McDonalds. That was our breakfast and all we had to spend was the money for gas. We did not eat anything else all day till we got to Victoria's that night. We had to stop every couple hours for me to move around but it worked out ok. We stopped at rest stops and walked Wiley. Then we stopped at the LDS bookstore and admired the Temple as a way to move around as well. I don't do well traveling anymore and this may be my last trip.

It was a last minute trip.

I have to get out and move around every couple of hours too. It's great that you and Roger were able to go down and visit though. I'm sure Greyson is getting so big....and I bet the kids were so happy to see you.

LOL That if funny. A friend of mine had never heard of LDS or knew that it stood for Latter Day Saint. She thought it stood for something disablity student. LOL

I get there are book stores that sell LSD on the side. LOL
