To the one who gave me life...
To the one who raised a child born with no sight or hearing...
To the one who help teach me to walk But was younger than me...
To the ones who played with me in the dark ...
To the ones who held my hand because I was afraid...
To the one who raised kids on her own...
To the one who taught me to sew...
To the one who helped raise me when my natural mother could not...
To the one who taught me how to clean...
To the one who taught me how to act like a lady...
To the one who showed me no color when making friends...
To the one who taught me patience...
To the one who watched me from a far...
To the one who gives me advice...
To the one who gave me shelter when I had no place to go...
To the lady who wish to take me in as her own...
To the one who taught me how to love in an unforgiving world...
To the one who finally believed in me...
To the one...
There is not just one I need to credit on Mother's Day. But many who have influenced me through out my life time. I will acknowledge a few right now -
My natural mother
My step mother
My grandmother
My mother in laws
My many sisters
and of course my many friends who are mothers themselves.
To the one who is called Mother, Mommy, Momma, ma, or whatever other name that has been inspired for a mother to be called. I salute you and all the women out there who has helped make me the woman I am today. Without your lessons or your plans I feel I would of not done as well on my own.
