Speaking of Powerball winners, the Pennsylvania Powerball jackpot winners came forward to claim a whopping $107,533,278.27 prize! Unfortunately, this money had to be split up into 48 portions. Bryant Vaders purchased 120 Powerball tickets for a group of employees of the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) for the April 25th drawing—and they won big time! It's too bad the entire jackpot couldn't have gone to just one lottery winner instead!
The PA lottery winners got their 120 tickets at the Newsstand at the Gallery at Ninth and Market Streets in Philadelphia, PA. Each Pennsylvania Powerball winner will receive $2,240,276.63, less federal withholding. Their prize is the third-largest Pennsylvania lottery prize ever awarded.
