Mom made one of my favorites last night: ground beef tacos and served them with her special refried beans. Awesome meal!

Oh yes, cheese, but mostly on top. It does smell so good when cooking...

Kidney beans for refried? I've never tried that...sounds good, though!

My wife would love it. When I want tacos, I stuff mine with sauteed portabellas and vidallias or a nice brown rice mix...and still stuff it with cheese and lettuce.

I usually do. I put the beans in a baking dish and put the hot dogs on top. put them in a hot oven... And then I set a timer. :) Then I don't have to keep an eye on them... and ding ding... the timer goes off and it's all ready. I bake a lot and it works out well, less burnt food. :)

I made chicken cacciatore and home made pasta. The pasta was made with semolina and had fresh sage leaves rolled in to the dough.

Thank you. Now you are giving me an idea. I am thinking spinach pasta. This would not be leaves rolled into the dough. I would add cooked, cooled and finely chopped spinach to the dough while it's kneading. I don't make that much pasta, so I hope I don't' forget this ideal

I think I like the Sloppy Joe sauce better. Maybe it's just the heat. All I want is ice cream when it's hot out. 98 degrees today :(
