A response to Larry from my Bernanke Bubble Post
Larry, I agree our monetary system is archaic and primitive. The concept of one man or women controlling vast amounts of wealth is antiquated. I cannot find the words to describe it, maybe using the events, leading up to the French Revolution is the best visual to depict this system, how the rich lived, lavishly while the poor slobs languished and scraped for any morsel that was tossed from the palace windows. Classicism through wealth and linage must end; ruling through control via power, land and money must end. We need a more balanced field where people are treated equally, where they are given their self worth back, which has been taken from them through this demeaning system of a carrot and stick mentality. I do not suggest the wealth to be divided up like Robin Hood but a new paradigm where people want to share their wealth and prosperity not hoarding it or doling it out in tiny increments. I see a time when everyone is working, with less unrest in people because they have what they need. There will still be the famous, the brilliant creators, and the superstar athletes but they will not be rewarded like dogs with a bone, rather on their joy for what they are doing. Their income will be sufficient for a fine living but the lavish stuff will be outdated because the values of these things will not matter anymore what matters is that people are doing what they want to do, and not doing a job simply because it pays well. I know this is hard for the primitive human mind to comprehend but it works and makes for a better person, family, society and world.
An example would be Bill Gates; he can still be driven by his passion but money and power is not the driving force instead his will to do what he enjoys. The moneys that do come in from his efforts will all be reinvested in others whom are doing their passion such as actors, artist, scientists etc. It will snowball onward to where everyone is doing what their hearts have always longed for before they ended up on repetitious assembly lines that only shut down the spirit and closes the mind of the individual depriving them of their God given talents. It is a system of man enslaving man for the benefit of a choice few. It is time this ends.

In other words, my system makes possible great concentrations of the power to help others and makes impossible great concentrations of the power to harm others. Our current form of money makes possible great concentrations of power but it is amoral and can be and is used for both helping others and harming others.
One of the many results of my system is that people act as your describe in your vision. That is, "everyone is working, with less unrest in people because they have what they need." But there are huge other advantages as well. My system uses far fewer resources than our current system which uses about 25% of our gross domestic product. We have millions of people whose work is to service money in various ways.
The novel that I wrote that explains it all is here on Gather (see my profile for the TofC links to all the chapters) and also at my web site where there is a complete text copy and an MP3 copy and no ads. That's the best explanation I have been able to come up with. So far as I know it covers everything but it's long though entertaining so it will be a significant investment of your time.
Fortunately, if you don't like it or it becomes obviously to you that I'm crazy, you can stop reading at any time. :-)
