Ron Paul and his supporters need to cut it out! Even Rick Santorum who was closest to Mitt Romney saw the writing on the proverbial wall. Ron Paul is splitting the Republican party, but even with his recent wins, he cannot win the race. Do you want four more years of Obama?
Maybe Ron Paul can win in 2016, but now, he needs to take his 93 or so delegates and be the man he claims to be and exit the race. This country cannot afford four more years of Obama; it is that simple.
Mitt Romney has no where to go but up, and when he announces his vice presidential candidate, he will soar to the satisfaction of Tea Party members and the like. People are deceived with Ron Paul. He cannot win. The numbers say he cannot win!
The media is ignoring Ron Paul, but that is because he is not viable. He is a good man, but he needs to lead by getting out of the way.

He is not dividing the Rep Party, he is bringing it back to it's roots!
There is no scenario where Romney becomes President. He has the enthusiastic support of the Rich, the Die Hard Republicans, and the Mormons. Nobody else really cares.
Romney has the same economic plan as Obama. Romney has the same "strip Americans of their rights" plan for security as Obama. Romney has the same plan for war and more war as Obama.
Romney == Obama, but Obama comes across as nice, more understanding, not a crony capitalist, defender of the little guy.
Romney comes across as plastic, uncaring, aloof, condescending, and boring.
All things being equal, Romney wins. Or Republicans nominate Paul and win. That's why Paul should stay in the race.
The inmate got 40%. Still, strangely impressive...
Not really there are several instances where this type of thing has happened. I remember several years ago where a candidate had passed away a couple weeks before the election and he still beat the alive guy.
The thing this gal doesn't get, and many others, is that Paul is running for the good of the country. It isn't about winning a contest between two parties. It is about the general welfare of the country.
With that in mind, Paul would be foolish to stop. There is still hope for better polices and to avoid the cliff that the two parties are running this country over.
We can't get in his head. So maybe you are right. However, it isn't my take on the man. He very truly believes the Fed's meddling with the economy as the cause of the debt crisis and the income gap. He very truly believes a fair foreign policy (where we treat others the way we would like to be treated) will gain us the most in the long run. He very truly believes in limits on Executive and Congressional power, as detailed in the constitution.
It is the fact that he believes these things that makes listening to him 30 years ago, 20 years ago 10 years ago, and 4 years ago all the same experience.
Now he *might* have done all that just to win the presidency for himself. It is a bit more simple to just believe he really holds to these ideals.
I'm glad he is staying in to the convention.
Mitt Romney is a mirror, not a leader. He is what he thinks we want. He isn't the candidate we need.
The country is already quite ruined, the constitution is already nullified, and whatever happens in the next 4 years will be bad.
I hate to see this unconditional allegiance to the GOP; it is the surest way to render one’s beliefs and agenda irrelevant. The ABO approach means even less pressure on Romney to do what is right.
It's free advertising, and an indication to voters that a party with many divergent views can get along and get things done. If I knew the GOP had the acumen to realize this, I'd support any victor, because the base is sound.
Paul's people are a new thing, a grand addition, best unwasted by disenfranchisement. They're not leaving, they're joining. If the GOP has the brains and grace to share their toys, that is. They should. They'd be unbeatable.
