Justin Bieber gave the first live performance of his latest single "Boyfriend" on The Voice finale last night. So, how did he do? Beliebers will undoubtedly believe Justin did a fabulous job. In their eyes, the young man can do no wrong. Not to mention, he is just so darn cute he looks great no matter how his voice sounds.
Unfortunately for the Biebs, there are still some people out there who want to see him fail. Every note he sings or dance move he makes is torn apart and analyzed. His performance last night is undergoing the same heavy scrutiny, and is being picked apart.
One person's opinion of Justin's performance, "He sings off key, especially at the beginning, it's kind? of embarrassing to watch." Admittedly, it was not one of Justin's best live performances, but he should be given credit for actually singing live. Very few performers sing when they show up on stage. Their smooth sound is the handiwork of a recording.
He was also doing a lot of dancing, which would obviously affect his ability to sing. Folks must keep in mind; studio recordings and live performances are never going to sound the same. All in all, Justin Bieber did a pretty good job for his first performance of the song. What do you think? Are people being too critical?
