Co-Pay With Medicaid?

The other day when I was picking up my meds they said I had a co-pay of $6, I haven't ever paid a co-pay for me or my daughter since we've been on medicaid. I'm hoping that the co-pay was just because of the pain meds that I got from the oral surgeon. I just got antibiotics and prescription eczema creme for my daughter, and didn't have to pay anything. Guess I'll see when I get my other medications filled soon. Anyone else noticing this?

Sorry but I don't know. When I worked in the mental health field the adult clients on Medicaid always had to pay a $3 co-pay for their scripts.

Maybe they're bring that back? But $6 seems a little much, I mean most people are on Medicaid for the simple reason they can't afford normal health insurance.

Adults here have had to pay one on their prescriptions. Not sure how much though.

We haven't had medicaid in years but I do know that there was something I read that adults would not have to pay a copay, check with your pharmacist they will know why you paid it.

I was half out of it and just whining for people to hurry up. Wow thinking back on it I was acting worse than my one year old! lol. I feel sorry for my grandma lol. My mom and stepdad were there too, but they're deaf so they couldn't hear me. Next time I'm at Walgreens though I'll be sure to ask. Thanks.
