Model Kate Upton, star of the "Cat Daddy" viral video on YouTube, Carls Jr. commercial and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue wears many hats it seems. The latest is a baseball cap, sort of, as she will be among those featured in an upcoming baseball card set.
A report from Inquisitr.com indicates that Upton will be featured in the 2012 Topps Baseball card set, joining the likes of other non-baseball player athletes and celebs. Upton will be seen on her card in a red dress which she wore to her SI Swimsuit Issue launch party. The set is also said to feature random cards signed by Upton, and bits and pieces of one of Upton's outfits.
Upton will join Erin Andrews, Swin Cash, Michael Phelps, Greg Gumbel and Roger Federer, among others, who don't take swings at a baseball for their career. It appears as of now, that Kate's baseball card will be completely appropriate for any youngsters who collect cards these days. Topps probably came up with these concepts a bit before the recent Kate Upton "Cat Daddy" video, but had they hinted at random, flip-motion or holographic cards featuring the model doing her dance, they might have people interested in baseball card collecting again!
